We’re two local Edinburgh guys who are passionate about fantastic food and drink. Our menu is fresh and local – our lobsters come straight from Newhaven Harbour into our restaurant. We believe in letting the ingredients speak for themselves and showcasing the best produce Scotland has to offer.
Chef Stuart Thrumble has been in the kitchen his whole life, from Dalhousie Castle to Skippers under the Corbett family. In recent years to fit around his young family, Stuart has been running the executive kitchens for large corporation firms. He is passionate about ingredients and keeping things fresh and local and is excited about his return to a restaurant kitchen. He lives in Trinity with his partner and two children.
Adam Tod worked locally at The Starbank Inn for 22 years, and laterally The Ox. He’s crazy about good beer, fabulous wine and fantastic spirits and has taken inspiration from living and travelling around Europe with his wife and son.
